 Megashare, which offers movies and TV shows to download, informed its users yesterday, April 21, that it would close due to an error by the hosting company.

"Since there are problems with [our] video hosting company, Megashare closes and will no longer update new movies in the future," says a message on its home page.

Last month, WIPR reported that several Internet service providers (ISPs) in the United Kingdom were instructed to block Megashare and three other websites that allegedly infringed copyright laws.
